Marco A. Ameglio S.
Board Member
Mr. Ameglio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Santa María la Antigua (USMA) with a postgraduate degree in Executive Management from the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE). He was elected for four consecutive periods as a member of the Panamanian Legislative Assembly, and was distinguished with an appointment as President during that same period (1991-1992).
He currently chairs the company Sociedad de Alimentos de Primera, S.A. – BONLAC, S.A., and real estate project Golf Park Plaza. Mr. Ameglio has a broad experience in the industrial, real estate and livestock sector. He is a member of the Panama Industrial Union (SIP), the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDE), and the Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture.
On March 23, 2010, Mr. Ameglio was sworn in as member of the Panama Canal Authority Board of Directors for a nine-year term.
